Upgrading from Bell 202T or V.23 Standards
Overwhelmed by the prospect of upgrading from existing Bell 202T or V.23 installations? The process need not be as daunting as you may perceive. Using the Raymar-Telenetics DSP9612 allows for incremental upgrades with its ability to support existing Bell202T and V.23 modulations, in addition to proprietary 4800 and 9600 Bps modulations. Upgrades can be completed in phases, thus reducing initial investment and network downtime.
The DSP is available as a drop-in replacement for existing 202/V.23 modems and comes in a variety of form factors, including rackmount options for both the RM16 datashelf and the Myriad MDR 18-slot 3U rack.

By using only the rack mount version you will no longer need to maintain inventory of both the rack mount and stand alone modems, thus reducing the stock levels needed for field support.
