The Penril DVX 7154 is an intelligent D4 Channel Bank conforming to AT&T/Bell standards: Pub 62411 and 43801. The DVX 7154 supports both D4 or extended superframe and clear channel modes.

MULTI-PURPOSE

The DVX 7154 interleaves twenty foru 8-bit time slots plus one framing bit into a 1.544 Mbps T1 service. The twenty four time slots are capable of carrying voice, data and video traffic.

CONTROL

The DVX 7154 is equipped with a network management system (MMC) to manage, control and configure the T1 mux. It has three levels of security ranging from monitoring only to changing configurations.
