HP Blade Servers

A BladeSystem enclosure holds up to 16 server and/or storage blades plus redundant network and storage switches. It includes a shared, multi-terabit high-speed mid-plane for wire-once connectivity of server blades to network and shared storage. Power is delivered through a pooled power backplane that ensures the full capacity of the redundant hot-plug power supplies is available to all blades.

A BladeSystem enclosure provides the following benefits:

Raymar and HP offers one-, two-and four-processor server blades, with the widest range of performance, and form factors.

HP Dynamic Power Capping is the industry's first and only power capping solution that lets you reclaim trapped power and cooling capacity without putting electrical infrastructure or server performance at risk. The enclosure Dynamic Power Cap will be shared amongst all of the installed devices and individual server caps will be changed to match the server load. This will optimize the performance of the servers while ensuring that the enclosure stays below the cap value.

Insight Control Environment for BladeSystem delivers foundation management for HP BladeSystem lifecycles, including hardware resource deployment, health monitoring, software version control, performance monitoring, and vulnerability scanning and patch management.

HP Insight Power Manager (IPM);

Upgrades the single-server remote management capabilities of iLO Select/Advanced to include centralized reporting and policy-based management of power consumption and thermal output provided by the Insight Power Manager. IPM unifies all of this functionality within a single user interface - HP Systems Insight Manager.

HP offers powerful, reliable server blades with the same trusted features as award-winning HP rack and tower servers. With features equal to standard 1U rack mount servers, the new two processor G5 combines energy efficient components, compute power and high density with expanded memory and I/O for maximum performance. A balanced architecture featuring Dual Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors with expanded cache, fully buffered DDR2 memory, optional Serial Attached SAS or SATA hard drives, support of Multi-Function NICS and multiple I/O cards, the G5, provides a performance system ideal for the full range of scale out applications.

Raymar SAN Virtual Storage Solutions:

The SAN comes standard with twelve drive bays able to simultaneously accommodate 3.5-inch enterprise-class, dual-ported SAS drives and archival-class SATA drives. Additional capacity can easily be added by attaching up to three of the 12-bay drive enclosures. Maximum raw capacity ranges from 5.4 TB SAS or 12 TB SATA in the base cabinet, to over 21.6 TB SAS or 48 TB SATA with the addition of the three drive enclosures. The Raymar HP family of arrays are cost efficient in that there are never additional hidden charges, licenses or fees as you add enclosures, hosts and users.
